Built with a very sharp powerful point this hook can penetrate bone without bending.

The hook is attached to the swiveling eye via a stainless steel cotter pin that allows the eye of the hook to pivot freely in the round bend of the cotter pin. The straight end of the cotter pin is passed through the inside eye of the swivel and bent over. When this connection is cast into the jighead it becomes a very strong link. The pivoting motion of the hook adds to the action of the tail and helps to prohibit the fish from using the weight of the jig head to shake it free. This head and hook design seems to hook most fish in the corner of the mouth helping to keep your leader away from sharp teeth.
