These are very handy swivels for wind on leaders and winding the swivel through the rod guides.

The smaller sizes are known as "wind on swivels" and are preferred when you want to wind your swivel through your roller guides. Fishing for many of the tuna species, longer leaders are used. To eliminate the use of a wire man, a wind on swivel is used. Allows the angler to wind the entire leader onto the reel and eliminating the need to wire the fish in.
